My Review

If you're considering learning Spanish in La Paz, you should definitely consider learning Spanish with ABC Spanish Tuition and William Ortiz. William’s knowledge and skill are only matched by his great patience with beginners. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student one could not wish for a more friendly and positive learning environment.

My home stay in La Paz was also wonderful. The family I stayed with was very friendly, helpful, and generous with their home. Nearly every morning at breakfast my host would engage me with conversation in Spanish. This was great practice and it got my mind working for my sessions with William.

Learning Spanish in the context of La Paz is inspiring; La Paz is a beautiful highland city with a rich history. There are some great sights to see in La Paz and the people are fantastic, very friendly.

Again, I highly recommend ABC Spanish, great experience, great teacher, and great city!

Quality of instruction

Excellent

Level of Spanish before attending

No knowledge of Spanish

Did the school accurately represent its program to you?

Yes.

Were school employees helpful outside of the classroom?

Always or almost always.

What are some pros and cons of the school's location?

It is located on Avenida Simon Bolivar, in Miraflores neighbourhood, near the Footbal Stadium Hernando Siles and near the parks. From there you will have an excellent view of the city. The area is quite safe and it is 15 or 20 minutes walk from the city centre. You can also take a bus to the stadium<./p>

Rate the quality of your home stay

Excellent.

Personal security

I always felt safe.

What did you most like about attending this school?

I liked the relaxed atmosphere and the access to Internet and useful books.

What did you most dislike about attending this school?

The only thing I disliked are the steps up to the end of the school's alley.

Whom would this school be best suited for?

It would be best suited both for tourists who want to learn Spanish intensively in a short space of time, taking 4-6 hours per day for just a few days, and for people who want to stay for longer and study from 2-12 weeks and stay with a family at the same time.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Yes
