Noticicias del Perú: Más de 300 muertos dejó el terremoto

Thursday August 16, 2007
If you're looking for the latest news from Peru about the massive earthquake that struck near Lima Wednesday night, you can't do much better than the online version of the El Comercio newspaper (in Spanish, of course). As of this writing, its home page includes links to the latest news, a forum where readers share their experiences, videos (including one taken during the quake itself) and information about the international response.

Another good Peruvian news source, although not as thorough, is La República, which features the front page of its printed edition.

Good sources of quake news from outside the country include El Nuevo Herald of Miami and Clarín from Buenos Aires.
