Word of the Day: Dedillo

By Gerald Erichsen, About.com

La palabra del día: el dedillo
Pronunciación aproximada: deh-THEE-yoh (Note that the second d in this word sounds approximately like that "th" of "that.") Listen
Significado: small finger, little finger, ring finger
Ejemplo: Cuando me dan el anillo, pongo el dedillo.
Traducción: When they give me the ring, I'll offer my finger.
Aviso: Al dedillo is a common idiom similar to the English "like the back of one's hand." Thus conocer al dedillo and saber al dedillo mean "to know thoroughly and completely."
