In an original answer to this question, I had suggested the coined word "Iberophile," which is admittedly awkward. A reader wrote recently to suggest "Hispanophile," based on the Latin name for the region. Fortunately, that word is in some dictionaries. The American Heritage Dictionary defines it as "an admirer of Spain or of Spanish-speaking countries or peoples."
