How to say "I love you" in Spanish

It has been said that most important three-word sentence in the English language is "I love you." If that's case, Spanish's most important sentence is easier. For in Spanish, that simple expression of love can be said in only two words.

Difficulty Level: easy      Time Required: 5 minutes

Here's How:
  1. Look in the eyes of the person you love.
  2. Take him or her by the hand.
  3. Smoothly say, "Te amo," like this: "TAY AHM-oh."

Tips:
  1. Be aware that in this case "te" is the word for "you," and "amo" means "I love."
  2. Don't say it unless you're sincere. Anyone who can spot a phony in English can do the same in Spanish.
