Cultural Unit 2: Mi Borinquen Querida

If you've looked ahead in the textbook, you already know that we take a pace from the normal routine this week for a look at the culture of Puerto Rico, the semiautonomous Spanish-speaking commonwealth of the United States.

So we're dispensing with the regular lesson this week, although you should still read the textbook on pages 133-138 and do the exercises. And if you'd like to learn more about Puerto Rico, be sure to follow the links on this recent article concerning the legal status of the commonwealth.

In next week's lesson we'll study the use of adjectives.
