Numerous Verbs Can Mean 'To Take'

Context is everything when it comes to translating to or from Spanish. A good case study of that principle can be seen in our lesson on translating the verb to take. Although there are dozens of Spanish verbs that can, in the right context, mean "to take," which one you choose will depend on exactly what "take" means. It isn't always the same.
