Preposition Para Used To Indicate Purpose

The prepositions por and para can be confusing for new Spanish students (and even not-so-new ones) because they can both mean "for." But perhaps the new lesson in our Real Spanish Grammar can help clarify the distinction, as it shows how para is usually used to indicate purpose.
