Prepare for Your Trip to Where Spanish Is Spoken

Tuesday March 24, 2009
If you're planning a vacation trip to Spain, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico or somewhere else where Spanish is spoken, it's never too early to learn some of the basics of Spanish. True, English is widely spoken in most places that tourists go, but you'll find that even if you know a few words of Spanish you'll have a lot more fun and will most likely get a positive reaction to your efforts. To help you learn, we've developed this quiz that's designed to introduce you to some of the words and phrases you should know — no advance study necessary for this quiz! There's no complicated grammar here, just a bit to make your vacation a lot more enjoyable. ¡Buen viaje! Have a good trip!
