Now It's Your Turn To Give Advice

Thursday March 19, 2009
Learning a foreign language is easier with other people, which is one reason why students tend to learn better in a class than on their own. We can't do much here about putting you in physical contact with other students, but today we launch a feature designed to help you learn from the experience and wisdom of other people learning Spanish. Check out our lesson on 10 grammatical mistakes to see an example of this feature, known as Readers Respond. Readers of this lesson — and soon, others — are encouraged to offer their suggestions or to otherwise expand on the lesson. Reader submissions will be moderated, so they won't show up immediately, but we'll include as many as we can.

Readers Respond doesn't replace our forums nor the comments feature on this blog, but is just another way solicit quality comments from those who visit this site. I hope you try this new feature and find it useful.

A common mistake I find is not to use de before numerals for the English than. Eg. Tengo mas de 3 coches que no sirven.
