Why You Do What You Do

If I ask you why you're studying Spanish, your answer might be that you're studying Spanish order to travel to Spain. Suppose I ask you the same question in Spanish: ¿Para qué estudias español? To give me the same answer in Spanish, you would need to know how to express the idea of "in order to." There are several ways you could, but usually the easiest way is with the preposition para.
