Verb Properties: Mood and Voice

If you're a beginning Spanish student, you learn fairly early about a verb's properties such as tense, its person (first, second or third) and number (singular or plural). One of the verb properties you'll learn later its is mood — a concept that isn't intuitive since it less frequently distinguished in English. The three moods in both languages are the indicative, the subjunctive and the imperative.
