Months of the Year Are Masculine, Not Capitalized

One of the differences you'll likely notice early on between written Spanish and English is that in Spanish the months of the year aren't capitalized in Spanish. They're just like other ordinary nouns. And, like other noun, months in Spanish also have gender: They're masculine. Otherwise, they're treated much the same way in Spanish as what you're used to in English, as is shown in our lesson.
