Presidential Debate To Be Broadcast in Spanish
Tuesday February 19, 2008
Thursday (Feb 21) evening's debate between Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton will be broadcast in Spanish on the Univision network in the United States. Unlike earlier debates this season, Univision will not be broadcasting the debate live, but instead will air a dubbed version of the debate several hours later, at 11:30 p.m. EST (check your local listings for other time zones). Although this debate isn't being aimed exclusively at Hispanic audiences, some of the questions for the two candidates will be selected by the Univision staff. The debate is being held in Austin, Texas, in advance of the March 4 primary.
