What would you name a baby?

Some Spanish names — Fernando and María come to mind — are quite familiar to people who don't speak the language. Others are less familiar. Which kind would you consider if you were naming a baby or picking a Spanish name for yourself? Whichever kind you like, you can find a good sampling of them on our list of baby names for girls or boys.

Actually, the Spanish meaning of Casimiro is peaceful and the Polish meaning of Casimiro, or Casimir, is peace destroyer.
Either way, it’s a beautiful name…
