If you make grammatical and spelling errors while speaking Spanish, you're in good company. Even native speakers make their share of mistakes (just as do native English speakers in their language). But the mistakes native speakers make probably aren't the same ones as you or I do. Learn more...

When I was taking Spanish in college, I had a good friend with me who was from Venezuela. I would often help her with her Spanish grammar because she had a lot of trouble with it. Just because someone grew up in a Spanish speaking country doesn’t mean they learned Spanish grammar properly. It is the same for someone who grows up in America. There are plenty of people who speak English fluently but have poor grammar skills
