New on About: Spanish food

Wednesday December 13, 2006
If you have a sweet tooth, you might know what pasteles and galletas are, but do you know how to make them? If not, you can't do much better than visiting one of the newest About sites, Spanish Food, guided by Lisa and Tony Sierra. They know what they write about: Both fluent in Spanish, Tony is a native of Spain, and Lisa has lived there as well.

Their site features recipes and cooking tips for not just the Spanish favorites you might have heard of such as paella, but also such specialty items such as chuletas de cerdo a la madrileña (a regional variation of pork chops) and sopa de ajo (garlic soup). And at this time of year, you'll find plenty of Christmas recipes as well as interesting details about how Christmas is celebrated in Spain. Visit the site...
