Espera México a Wilma

Hurricane Wilma is a few days away from the United States, but she's already making her presence felt in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. Some of the best Spanish-language hurricane coverage online can be found at Mexico City's El Universal online, which offers staff-written news reports and a bulletin board that is providing frequent updates from Mexican residents in the storm zone.
"Ya cubrimos las ventanas con tablas, ya amarramos los tinacos, tenemos alimentos para algunos días. Ninguna medida es excesiva ante la cercanía de este peligroso huracán," writes one resident of Cozumel, an island in Wilma's path.
