Learn another language, and keep your mind young

If you want to keep your mind from showing the effects of age, one way may be to learn another language. In a study published last year, researchers measured the reaction times of people, comparing monolingual people with bilinguals. The result: Bilingual people scored much better, and also showed themselves to be less easily distracted by superfluous information. Researchers theorize that the need of the bilingual people to manage two languages may have served to keep their minds active. Learn more about the study... (Source: WebMD)
