Gabriel García Márquez memoirs available in translation

Even in translation to English, the most recent book by Gabriel García Márquez is drawing rave reviews for its commanding use of language. "Living to Tell the Tale," an English translation of Vivir para contarlo, is the first in a planned trilogy that tells the about the life of the international bestselling Colombian author. "Living to Tell the Tale" went on sale earlier this month with an exceptionally high press run of 400,000. Previous bestsellers included Cien años de soledad and El amor en los tiempos de cólera.
