What is a sandwich in Spanish?

Sometimes, a sandwich in Spanish is simply un sandwich (usually, but not always, spelled without an accent on the a). But there are plenty of other words to refer to the popular food: bocadilla, torta, sánduche, montadito and, if you wish to sound a bit stuffy, emparedado.
