Another recognized language for Spain?

An organization of deaf people in Spain is seeking new legal status for sign language, saying that their sign language should receive the same recognition as do other minority languages in Spain. The National Federation of Spanish Deaf Persons (La Confederación Nacional de Sordos de España) said in a statement marking the International Day of the Deaf on Sunday that deaf people in Spain are tired of being marginalized.
