Argentine telenovelas popular in Israel

Things Latin American, including the Spanish language, are growing in popularity in Israel. Two cable channels there broadcast 30 telenovelas per day, mostly from Argentina. Although the soap operas are usually shown with Hebrew subtitles, teens and others are picking up the language, sometimes with an Argentine accent. Read more...
