Texas newspaper war

A newspaper war is brewing in Texas — or perhaps that should be called una guerra de diarios. Knight Ridder, a major U.S. newspaper chain, has announced it will expand its publication of a newspaper in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to daily by early next month, calling the paper Diario Estrella. Meanwhile, the company that owns the Dallas Morning News says it will publish a Spanish daily, Al Día, starting at the end of September.
