Dora shows being bilingual is cool

Being bilingual is cool, at least for the preschool set. Dora the Explorer, a Nickelodeon show for preschoolers that includes a bilingual lead character, has become the most popular show on a cable network for the under-5 crowd. The show has even become a hit with youngsters up through fifth grade or so. The show takes place in an unspecified Latin American locale, and Dora freely switches between Spanish and English as she goes on adventures and tackles problems.
