Two Spanish-language films are opening in limited release in the United States this weekend. The more highly acclaimed of the two, Los lunes al sol, stars Javier Bardem as a Spanish dockworker who loses his job. It has been renamed Mondays in the Sun for its subtitled-in-English release. The other is Lucía, Lucía, which was named La hija del canibal when it was shown in Mexico. It tells the story of a woman who goes on a search for her missing husband. Both films have been rated R for U.S. showings.
