Labeling dispute

The Generalitat, a governing body in the Catalan-speaking area of Spain, insists that goods sold there include labels in Catalan. But one newspaper writer isn't happy: if he wants to buy something labeled in Swahili, he figures he should be able to. Such a requirement reeks of provincialism and intolerance, he says.
